NOTE: This medicine is only for you. Do not share this medicine with others.Celebrex belongs to the group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and is used for pain or inflammation treatment. It is especially useful in case of arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and mestruation-related pains, as well as for hereditary colon polyps treatment. Celebrex reduces the hormones responsible for causing inflammation and pain.
Celebrex occasionally magnifies the risk of heart or circulation problems that can be life-threatening, such as serious heart attacks or strokes. It is especially dangerous to use this drug in the periods before or after a coronary artery bypass graft which is a heart bypass surgery. If you experience a severe chest pain, shortness of breath, vision or balance problems, or slurred speech, seek medical help immediately. Older adults are at high risk of serious gastrointestinal problems including internal bleeding or perforation of stomach walls which often occur without warning. If your stool becomes black or tarry with signs of blood, if you cough up blood or barf and your vomit looks like coffee grounds, seek emergency medical help. The risk of such side effects is often increased by consuming alcohol, so please exclude any average beverages from your menu for the whole therapy period.
Note that usually Celebrex is ingested when it is necessary, not according to a certain shedule. However, in some cases your doctor may insist that you take it systematically, according to a scheme that is designed individually for you.
